Our students have the opportunity to become part of a productive department with a range of staff offering exciting visual, literary and technological approaches to theatre. We stress the value of practical work, and we give students the time in each course to explore practically the terms and concepts they will be hearing about in more formal classes.

P&O Crusies
I worked for P&O cruises for over 3 years as deputy and Acting Production Manager in charge of the technical provisions for multiple venues on The (deceased) MV Victoria, MV Aurora, MV Oceana, MV Oriana and Ocean Village. My time with P&O was enjoyable, although I have never been so lonely while being surrounded by so many people. P&O was a great learning facility for me and I am proud to have worked for a company that keeps its safety and customer service standards a consistently high priority.

Central School of Speech and Drama PGCE course
I attended this prestigious teacher training course in 1999 but decided early on in my teaching career that I did not agree (academically) with the form of qualitative assessments that I was being asked to administer within the English GCSE system. However this rigid and demanding course gave me a thorough grounding in effective and diverse teaching methods and classroom management techniques which I continue to employ.

I attended this Post Graduate Certificate course in IT (concentrating on web infrastructure development and database administration) in 2002.
