Artistic Statement

• My art demonstrates a conscious devotion to challenging preconceptions at the artistic, conceptual and sociological level, while simultaneously demonstrating a complete lack or responsibility except when it does not demonstrate that lack.

• My art is new and refreshing! Possibly to no one other than myself.


• My art may or may not embrace and / or understand the theoretical / cultural background that has inspired its creation and subsequently contextualizes its existence.


• My art is firmly grounded in the practicalities of confrontation. It is much simpler to have one's own opinions than to understand someone else's.


• My art is fed from roots planted deep in theory, manifesting blossoms of succinct, clear artistry that are thorough and thoughtful.


• My art attempts to employ freshness and originality, which is stale and clichéd.


• My art is made for those who choose to see it. It is art where the message is there to be read.

Fundamentally ineffectual.

• Art is a functionless pursuit. The continued proliferation of art serves merely to highlight the futility of humanity’s continued existence.

• The best that any artist can hope for is to spend their time in such distraction that they do not become fully conscious of their own passing.

• Theatre is the most wretched of all arts.
