When asked about the character of Godot, Beckett replied,
"I know no more about the characters than what they say,
what they do, and what happens to them." 1 I feel like that about art. Humanity hasn't come up with any definitive answer so far. Perhaps, like Didi and Gogo, we are simply passing the time while waiting.
